PayRange + KioSoft
App-required payment creates friction for your walk-in demographic. No WDF, no P&D, no store-specific loyalty. Speed Queen machines legally restricted after June 8, 2026. Low hardware cost ($50) is illusory — you still need separate WDF POS.
ESD (standalone)
Best-in-class hardware reliability and EBT acceptance, but zero native WDF or P&D support. As a standalone system for a full-service attended store, ESD forces you to run two separate software platforms. EBT is its one unique advantage — worth combining with another system if your budget allows.
CCI (for WDF from Day 1)
CCI's LaundryCard is excellent for coinless self-service and offers processor flexibility. But ProLink is a bolt-on, not native WDF. If you are planning WDF from Day 1, CCI is the wrong starting point — save it for consideration when you grow to a second store where self-service payment is the primary need.
